COVID PROTOCOL & FAQs

Come join us as we spend an early evening outside learning about our native owl species and hit the trails to have a look for owls right here in our own backyard.

Our owls are on the move and making a hoot!

This fun event starts with a meet and greet with some of On The Wing's magnificent non-releasable owls, and a talk about their ecology and adaptations, importance to our ecosystem, and how you can help them.

Following the presentation, we'll take a short walk on the neighboring beautiful Raynes Farm wooded trail to call for owls, and listen for whooo might call back. You'll learn how to spot signs of wild owls in the area, what to look for, and how easy and accessible these experiences can be.

This is not a youth program, but super family friendly and children are most welcome (and will surely be fascinated, inspired, and learn lots). Children under 10 are free, but are required to register given capacity limitations.

Each ticket includes a complimentary beer, cider, or hot cider!

Proceeds from this program will support the On The Wing's rehabilitation efforts and The Word Barn.

This is a distanced, open-air, contactless, masked, and COVID conscious event.

Please be aware that this event is scheduled for outside. In the unlikely chance that it needs to be moved inside, proof of full vaxx and mandatory mask wearing is required at this time. Thank you!
