Hailing from Mamou, Louisiana, Steve Riley is a widely acknowledged master of the Cajun accordion and its singularly powerful sound.

Know for their infectious energy, this award-winning five piece band is Dublin, Ireland-based group sits squarely at the crossroads of Irish and Appalachian music.

The Soggy Po’ Boys are a New England-based septet that offers an unforgettable experience of traditional New Orleans music - and are headed to The Word Barn for what will be oh so good!!

The award winning and highly acclaimed band Le Vent du Nord is a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk movement.

Since its inception in August 2002, Le Vent du Nord has enjoyed meteoric success, performing well over 2,000 concerts over 4 continents and racking up several prestigious awards, including a Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros, two Junos (Canada’s Grammys), a Félix at ADISQ, a Canadian Folk Music Award, and “Artist of the Year” at the North American Folk Alliance Annual Gala.

Samantha Crain is a Choctaw-American singer, songwriter, film composer, and producer from Oklahoma. This two-time winner of the Native American Music Award defies categorization, marrying folk music with the sounds of country rock and college indie.

Known for their heartfelt, genre-blending sound, Satsang merges elements of folk, hip-hop, reggae, and rock, infusing each song with introspective lyrics and a strong message of positivity, spirituality, and social awareness.

Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra is a seven-piece acoustic band from Oslo, Norway, that has captured hearts in both Norway and the US with its unique blend of bluegrass and Nordic folk – a style often dubbed “Nordicana.”

Nominated for Norway’s Grammy Award, this is one band not to miss this summer.

The Bow Tides is a powerhouse Celtic ensemble led by three Irish fiddlers: Ellery Klein, Jessie Burns and champion Irish dancer Katie Grennan. These dynamic women are veterans of the stage and studio, with a collective 16 years as the fiddlers with the Irish-American supergroup Gaelic Storm. Holding down the low end in the group are Grammy-nominated bassist Eric Thorin and guitarist/singer Jeff Lindblade.

You may recognize them from past tours with Bela Fleck & The Flecktones - Alash are masters of traditional Tuvan instruments as well as the ancient art of throat singing, a remarkable technique for singing multiple pitches at the same time.

Believing that traditional music must constantly evolve, the musicians subtly infuse their songs with western elements, creating their own unique style that is fresh and new, yet true to their Tuvan musical heritage.
