Toronto songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Lapell heads to The Word Barn for a special album release show for Anniversary, an evocative collection of original love songs. 

Over the past five years and three spellbinding albums, Lapell has garnered three Canadian Folk Music Awards (Songwriter of the Year and Contemporary Album of the Year), hit number one on Canadian folk radio, and reached a staggering 40 million+ streams on Spotify alone while touring widely across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

Brass sensation The Soul Rebels started with an idea - to expand upon the pop music they loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. They took that tradition and blended funk and soul with elements of hip hop, jazz and rock all within the style of a modernized and contemporary brass band.

A genre-bending cellist and songwriter who combines classical artistry with bluegrass and pop, Ben Sollee has created a unique and infectious take on folk music.
