PMAC Bluegrass Ensemble & Band of Hope
Join us for an evening of bluegrass and Scottish/Irish tunes played by PMAC adult ensemble students! The Bluegrass Ensemble, led by Steve Roy, focuses on a variety of bluegrass music styles and songs while The Band of Hope honors the traditions of Irish or Scottish casual sessions. The Band of Hope is led by Jason Crigler.
PMAC Noon Tunes & Ukulele Ensemble Concert
Enjoy an evening of music played by PMAC's adult student ensembles - the Noon Tunes Ensemble and the Ukulele Ensemble - both led by Steve Roy! The Noon Tune Ensemble plays a variety of tunes from different cultures (Appalachian, French Canadian, Celtic, etc.) while the Ukulele Ensemble focuses on popular favorites!
The Noon Tunes and Ukulele Ensemble are a part of PMAC's growing Adult Student Ensemble program. Students can learn how to play their instrument for the first time or be challenged to learn new techniques, genres and more within a supportive setting.

Larry & Joe
Larry Bellorín hails from Venezuela and is a legend of Llanera music. Joe Troop is from North Carolina and a GRAMMY-nominated bluegrass and oldtime musician.
Larry was forced into exile and is an asylum seeker in North Carolina who works construction to make ends meet. Joe's acclaimed "latingrass" band Che Apalache was forced into hiatus, and he shifted into action working with asylum seeking migrants.
Currently based in the Triangle of North Carolina, both men are versatile multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters on a mission to show that music has no borders.

GRAMMY Award winning American Roots artists Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer join with Chinese classical hammered dulcimer player Chao Tian, and award-winning banjoist, fiddler and singer Jake Blount in a show that combines music from China to Appalachia and beyond.
Instrumentation includes yangqin (Chinese hammered dulcimer), gourd banjo, five-string banjo, ukulele, guitars, dumbek, cello-banjo and mandolin.
